The Barlow Planetarium at the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley is a world-class facility for exploring the night sky or watching an exciting laser light show. Enjoy 3-D excitement in every show on our 48-foot projection dome theatre. Star Shows, Children's Star Shows, Family Laser shows and Rock Laser Shows change frequently.
The Barlow seats 98 people, with four additional spaces for wheelchair access. An Evans & Sutherland Digistar II star projector recreates a realistic night sky and 3-D effects, which pull the audience into a virtual universe where the stars are within reach. Built in 1882, this stunning Victorian landmark is the first home in the world lit by a hydroelectric central station based on the Thomas A. Edison system.
